Thumbs up!"Freakin' Fabulous! If I could rate higher than 10 I would. Perfectly balanced, peachy and just enough floral to make it bright and perky!"

My husband and I agree, this is the best peach flavour we've ever had in a cup of tea. The aroma of the leaves in their packaging is the same in the steeping and drinking. Shangrila is a magical 5 ingredient tea that takes the simple but delicious flavours and flaunts them for all they are worth. The ingredients: marigold (love), safflower (the one that mocks saffron in teas), passion fruit (instilling a passion for loyalty to this flavoured green tea), peach (delightfully sweet and juicy flavours come through) and Green Mao Fend tea leaves (a most famous and common green tea of China's Anhui province- south east and land locked).

Warning!! This could be a gateway tea that will lure those wary of C. sinensis products into the mystical Shangri la of the world of tea!

Shangri la is actually a mythical place described in "Lost Horizon" by James Hilton. This Himalayan get-away is said to be a paradise on earth. Myth or mystery, the tea is aptly named and tastes like I would deeply desire of a Shangri la cup. I brewed my cup at 185˚F for 3.5 minutes. Deliciously vapourous hot, and concentrated flavours in the cold, this tea qualifies as perfect for year round consumption. I would even consider hot brewing, pouring into an ice cube tray and allowing to freeze then putting them in my travel mug the next morning and enjoying as the ice cubes slowly melt all day long.

Simply, paradise.
