The loose tea called "OM" was beautiful to behold.  It appeared to be  full of rosebuds, cardamom, bits of green bark, and yellow and green grasses.  It smelled like chamomile.  According to Tealicious' website, the mixture also contained cinnamon, saffron, ginger, and fennel.

I was drawn to this tisane because it is one of Tealicious' (TL) ayurvedic blends.  "OM" suggested calmness, tranquility, and a sense of space, the very qualities I craved as I was much too busy trying to sell my home.

The aroma of this potpourri was certainly calming.  I could smell the ginger, cardamom, and fennel above all, but those strong notes were balanced nicely by the roses.

As per the instructions on TL's website, I steeped the mixture for 8 minutes in 185 degree water.  The smell was spa-like, clearing my sinuses and giving me a sense of much-needed relaxation.

The taste, though, was too floral and perfume-like for my palate.  This was a liquid I would much rather bathe in than drink.  The roses and grasses were indeed lovely floating around in my cup.  The smell was cleansing, transcendent, and pampering, and that was all I needed.  I was cured!  Imbibing was an unpleasant part of my treatment, so I didn't partake after the first sip or two.

OM was effective in delivering as promised, despite the taste.
