The Holidays have snuck up on me once again! What better way to celebrate than with Holiday flavors and tea... Cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove always remind me of the Holidays. All of these flavors combined in one pie? Delicious! Pumpkin pie matcha you say... Hmmm... How can I possibly resist!

The first thing I did, as soon as I got this matcha was carefully cut open the golden packet and sniff. Wow... It smelled just like powdered pumpkin pie with a touch of green tea. It is a nice grassy green, a color that works well with the Holiday theme. Unfortunately, the package isn't resealable, so you must have a tin nearby or something to secure the package after cutting it open.

I used a teaspoon of tea and prepared it whisking it up until I got a nice layer of froth on top. Pain, it tasted a bit odd. Pumpkin Piein my opinion, needs to be both sweet and creamy. I decided to try again and prepare it with skim milk and sweetener... The result is spectacular! Liquid pumpkin pie in a cup with a delicious hint of green tea flavor. It is my favorite pumpkin pie flavored beverage yet!

All in all, this is worth a try if you are looking for something festive or just if you want a healthier way to make your mind believe that you have consumed a piece of Pumpkin pie!
